Attire & Activity Essentials
To help you prepare for each experience, please review the recommended attire and physical considerations in the guide. Bangkok’s climate is warm and humid, so lightweight, breathable clothing and comfortable footwear are strongly encouraged throughout the conference.
Recommendations
Cell Phone
Don't forget to change your cell phone plan to the International Travel Plan.
Laptop
If your laptop has security controls, notify your IT department of your travel to Bangkok and any other countries you’ll visit or transit through.
Packing
Don't forget to pack layers, comfortable shoes, your outlet converter, sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses.
Credit/Debit Cards
Inform your financial institute of the countries you will be visiting or have a layover to ensure your card will work overseas.
Tipping
Tipping is not expected; however, if you feel the need to do so, rounding up or 5-10% is appreciated.
Medication
Be sure to pack more than anticipated in the event your return is delayed.
