The Defense Credit Union Council and this year’s conference co-host, Global Credit Union, are pleased to announce that the 2025 Overseas Sub-Council Conference will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Denmark’s vibrant capital seamlessly blends modern architecture and rich culture with sustainable living, royal heritage, and a world-class dining scene.
This year’s presentations will address key issues important to our Overseas Sub-Council member credit unions, providing attendees (Presidents/CEOs, Board members, and senior staff) valuable insights and critical updates from both DoD and industry experts.

CONFERENCE & TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
All requests for cancellations must be submitted in writing to Cindy Parker, CMP at cparker@dcuc.org by Friday, March 28, 2025. Cancellation requests that are received by Friday, March 28, 2025, will be processed less a $450 administrative fee. Refunds will be processed within 30 days after the meeting. No verbal cancellations will be accepted. There will be no refunds after Friday, March 28, 2025, and NO REFUNDS for no-shows. Fees cannot be carried over to future DCUC events, meetings, conferences, or webinars.
Substitutions are welcome at any time for the conference; however, there will be no substitutions for tours.
Attendees are responsible for canceling their own hotel rooms and incurring any cancellation fees from hotels, airlines, and rental cars.

Group Booking Dates:
The group rate (special negotiated rate) is available for stays from May 3 to May 10. Reservations outside these dates will be charged at the hotel's prevailing rate at the time of booking, and you must contact the hotel directly to book.

Christiansborg Palace stands as the heart of Danish democracy, housing the Danish Parliament, ministries, and office. The current palace, completed in 1928, carries a rich history that traces back to 1167 when Bishop Absalon built Absalon's Castle.
Visitors can explore the magnificent Royal Reception Rooms, where the Danish Royal Family hosts official events such as the New Year Levee, ambassador receptions, and grand gala banquets.
After exploring the grandeur of Christiansborg Palace, embark on a relaxing cruise through the charming canals of Christianshavn. Glide past picturesque historic buildings, admire the iconic green and gold steeple of Our Saviour’s Church, and take in the striking architecture of The Black Diamond, the modern extension of the Royal Library. As the cruise comes to an end, you'll reach the beloved Little Mermaid statue, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s timeless fairytale.

Learn to craft traditional Danish smørrebrød in this hands-on workshop. Begin with a welcome glass of bubbles as the Head Chef introduces the menu. Friday Tour
Day Trip to Malmo

Embark on a tour to Malmö, Sweden’s third-largest city, where you'll explore its medieval heart, strolling along cobblestone streets lined with beautifully preserved half-timbered houses from the 16th and 17th centuries.
